Mystery 6K

I first saw the Windows 98 'Mystery' theme on a friends dad's computer in the late 90's. I loved it. It's a core memory of interface customisation of mine. Everything from the sounds, the icons, the dark grey and aubergine interface elements.

The wallpaper specifically remains a classic. Unfortunately it has only ever existed as a 800x600px image. Until now.

I have reproduced it in 6K (from a 800x600 source!) with a combination of AI upscaling and a lot of Photoshop paintover 😅 I wanted it to be a faithful reconstruction for modern, widescreen displays.
